Dharma Punx (Sundays, 11am): This group is open to anyone interested in facing the truth of their own minds and finding their way out of delusion, people who have a desire for spiritual and/or personal growth, and anyone interested in meditation. Don't let the word "punk" deter you. It does not matter how you dress, if you have tattoos, or what kind of music you listen to. All beings are welcome.

Meditation in Recovery (Sundays, 6pm): Meditation and recovery is a multi-tradition twelve step group which explores the confluence of Buddhism and twelve step work. Meetings are held in the Zendo at AZC on Sunday nights and include a short meditation periods and a brief reading, followed by discussion. Additionally, we hold four half day retreats during the year. This is an open meeting and all are welcome.

Natural Wisdom & Compassion (Mondays, 6:45pm): On Monday evenings, we meet in the AZC library, sitting in chairs around the table. We begin with a prayer to set our mutual intention, and then we practice together a guided meditation on love and compassion. We call to mind our benefactors, those people in our lives who have had the simple wish that we be happy and free of suffering, and we spend time receiving the energy of their wish for us. Then, in widening and widening circles, we begin to include others in this wish, finally resting in the undivided nature of self and other. We end by dedicating the merit of our practice to all beings. This group is led by Betty Holmes, a longtime student of Lama Surya Das and Tenshin Reb Anderson Roshi.
